From road to sea, always with a touch of class. It could hardly be otherwise, especially when the marque in question is Bugatti. The celebrated French automotive manufacturer has unveiled its first yacht, aimed—as always—at a high-profile clientele. The first of the three models in the Niniette series, named after the nickname founder Ettore Bugatti gave his daughter Lidia, was built in collaboration with Palmer Johnson and draws inspiration from the Chiron, the marque’s sports coupé.
The Niniette 66 not only sports the carmaker’s distinctive signature design, but is also a 20-metre-long yacht (a measurement buyers can customise, ranging from 18 to 24 metres). It is equipped with two 1,000-hp MAN V-8 engines and two Marine Jet propulsion units, allowing it to reach a top speed of 44 knots.
The interiors stand out for their elegance, defined by a sophisticated combination of materials such as leather, marble and fine woods, used in the bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen. The upper deck features a relaxation area, highlighted by a Jacuzzi and a uniquely shaped fire pit. In 2017, production of just 66 boats was announced.
