The S Coupé is the sports version of the first series Porsche 911, designed to participate in rallies.
In the 1970 Monte Carlo rally it obtained its third consecutive victory. In 1970 it also won the Swedish and Austrian rallies, earning the first edition of the international manufacturers' championship, the first at an international level and a precursor to the modern WRC.
The C series of the Porsche 911 features an increase in displacement from 2.0 to 2.2. Liters, engines with crankcases cast in aluminum and magnesium alloy, standard stabilizer bars on all models and ventilated disc brakes.
The S is the best model in its category and with the increase in power up to 180 hp, it represents one of the most efficient road GTs of the time.
So a rare and prestigious specimen.

OUR PROTAGONIST: TOTALLY RESTORED
This car still has the original color - blood orange (2323 blutorange) - and the documents show that it was invoiced by the Porsche Factory to an official Italian Porsche dealership on 06/25/1970.
It was registered on 10/16/1970 with a Turin license plate. It is one of the very few original Italian examples and has always been in Italy, complete with use and maintenance manual, Italian brochure for the 2.2 models and all original tool kits.
In 2020, purchased by the current owner, it was entrusted for a complete restoration to Pentacar, a company specialized in Porsche restorations; it was subsequently inspected at the Porsche Center Milano Est, for the release of the Porsche Classic Technical Certificate, which it obtained.
It also comes with the Verification Dossier of the Italian Porsche 911 and 912 Registry.
This splendid car has appeared on the cover of the prestigious magazine “Tutto Porsche” and you can admire it live at the Auto e Moto d'Epoca Bologna fair from 24 to 27 October 2024 at the OldCar24 stand in pavilion 26.
