The 24 crews, coming from Italy and abroad, were hosted in the historic and luxurious Grand Hotel et de Milan, full of memories, in a festive atmosphere.
The elegant dinner was enlivened by the musical accompaniment of a quintet who performed songs relating to the era of the cars in the race.
Exciting, above all because Giuseppe Verdi lived and composed music in this hotel!
The 24 beautiful historic cars, including Bugatti T35A, Ferrari 225S Vignale, Lancia Aurelia B24 Spider America, B20 GT, Bentley Speed Model 1926, Mameco Ardun-Glasspar G2 1953 and many other sought-after masterpieces, were lined up in the monumental courtyard of the Palazzo del Senato: in the frame of the colonnade neoclassical were the true queens of the event, with the colors of their liveries shining despite their age; the various bodies, true masterpieces of design, created a highly suggestive visual impact.
In the evening, the participants were able to enjoy an exclusive joy for the eyes and mind with a visit to the nearby Poldi Pezzoli Museum: for some a discovery, for others a surprise.
This extraordinary house-museum in the heart of Milan reveals - with its very rich collections - worlds, civilizations, eras and cultures.

On Saturday 29th April, the historic 24 marched in the center of Milan escorted by the motorcycles and cars of the Carabinieri Corps. Spectacular departure towards the Oltre Po Pavese and Liguria.
The landscape is so beautiful when you climb the Ligurian Apennines, among beech woods, Mediterranean scrub, deep valleys where history has left its traces…!
And finally the sea! That expanse of light and blue called the Gulf of Tigullio, with inlets surrounded by orange groves, olive groves, myrtle and rosemary.
In the center the legendary Portofino!
The multicolored houses overlooking the port, the luxury shops, a feeling of peace and well-being. A place that lightens the weight of daily commitments.

In Portofino, the welcome was festive; the 24 vintage cars were admired by everyone in the legendary Piazzetta.
The hotel that hosted the crews was sumptuous, the Exelsior in Rapallo; exciting dinner in the sweet enchantment of the small gulf of Paraggi, on the chords of a romantic guitar.. "Love in Portofino".
The event concluded in the Piazzetta of Portofino, which saw the 24 historical protagonists in the square which transformed into a stage with an artist's background, a dream setting.
The farewell gave a surprise to the 24 crews, they were honored with small reproductions of racing single-seaters from the 20s, the work of the young and promising artist Beatrice Di Bitetto, who with her self-reliefs interprets the sporting events of historic cars in an original way.
