On the day when 500 celebrates its first 60th anniversary, Fiat received an important recognition. Moma of New York is ready to permanently house the pattern of Italian small car. The 500 has not only contributed to the engineering development in Italy but it has also become an icon of style and the award has been given to it as a sign of big acknowledgment by one of the most famous museums in the world.
All the accomplishments from 1975 to present : MoMa will exhibit the exemplar of 500 F, produced from 1965 to1972 going from New 500 to 500R. There are other two million exemplars of the current generation of cars that were unveiled in 2007. To celebrate the 60th anniversary of such a great success, Fiat decided to present two special series: the 500 Anniversario and the 60th Anniversary which will be introduced at Geneva Salon.
