On 31 January, the historic cars that made the fame of the famous and ancient Monegasque race paraded against the background of the facade of the cathedral of Milan - anicon known allover the world. Fifty of them participated in the TRIBUTE ACI MILANO, a ceremony that inaugurated the competition, in a festive atmosphere of great interest to the public.
The parade of vintage cars, after a stop at the ALPINE CARS headquarters, ended at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza. During a pleasant dinner, the “ALPINE MONTE CARLO STYLE AWARD” that was created by the artist Beatrice Di Bitetto to those who best deserved to present this glorious event.
All participating cars must have participated in the Rallye editions between 1911 and 1980. Fifty of them, from all over Europe,with theirs crews, in turn left for the Principality of Monaco,to face a fascinating but often bumpy and difficult 2500 km route, as well as very special race will end on the Monte-Carlo promenade, a place known for its scenic beauty and the atmosphere of worldliness and elegance that has always distinguished it.-
