Designed by the talented Giorgetto Giugiaro, the 1984 Lancia Thema was the flagship of the Turin company.
Grandiose, imposing, and excellent in detail, this Plus version, created by Carrozzeria Zagato, is a highly comfortable station wagon with an expanded rear volume while maintaining the elegance of the line and the power of the vehicle.
One peculiarity of the bodywork is the large windows, with flush glass without visible pillars. The reclining seats create more space, which is essential in a SW.

THE PROTAGONIST OF THE SERVICE
The 1985 prototype was presented at the Geneva Motor Show of the same year and was then donated by Elio Zagato to his son Andrea, who used it daily.
Subsequently, the fate of this prestigious and unique car began to decline, until it was completely restored by Mario Galbiati and, having returned to new life, the Lancia Thema Zagato Plus SW was exhibited in Padua in 2021, on the stand of the “ Lancia Thema Club Italia”, and in 2022 at Villa d'Este, to the admiration of experts and Andrea Zagato himself.
